I started going to the gym. I need everyone to know that or I will have nothing to hold me accountable when I stop. I am jealous of the men at my gym who can jump really high onto the platforms... that's crazy, I can't jump at all. Happy pride month!

Books I Have Read Recently
It's been a slow month for my reading abilities, I have not been in the mood.

The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic → This was not a good book. It was a YA fanfic that didn't really have a plot. But also it was so out of pocket that I can't stop thinking about it. I would not recommend you read it but I kinda care about this girl's OCs, so I might keep reading it. Also the scary psychopath (future gay love interest) character is a 5 foot even blonde boy. I struggle so hard to picture Andrew as scary but I'll let it slide cus its goofy as f*ck.
and..... that's the only book I've read. But I'm reading a really long Stephen King book so cut me some slack.

"I like the wine and not the label"
A list of LGBTQ+ T.V. shows and movies that don't suck a**

Heartstopper:
The obvious recommendation. This is the feel-good cute gay tv show we all need in our lives. The opposite of Blue Is The Warmest Color, it's sweet, it's innocent, it's nice.
This has it all Gays, Straights, Lesbians, Trans Girlies, Ugly haircuts, British People, and my love Olivia Coleman. It's also got a really good soundtrack and a cute little color pallet.

I Am Noy Okay With This:
Lesbians who like a show that's not just about being gay it's your time to shine. This show is great, unfortunately, canceled after 1 season. Sophia Lillis is great and I love her. It's small-town Americana vibes and a girl with superpowers. Kinda like Carrie. I highly recommend it.

Our Flag Means Death:
Black Beard but kinda gay......
We love pirates and we love this show. It's goofy and it's good. From the mind of Taika Waititi this one is a crowd favorite.

Young Royals:
We all love a little prep school tv show. This is a Swedish drama series about a royal son who is sent to attend this prep school and kinda falls in love with this poor boy. It's cute, it's nice, think SKAM. Also, the soundtrack is kinda baller.

Betty:
This show is very shaky cam, very "these girls are not actors" but it's fun. It's about a group of girls who skateboard in NYC. It's a sequel to the movie Skate Kitchen and kinda reminds me of Kid 90. Very day in the life, nothing happens.

I Care A Lot:
She's a cool girl, she steals from the elderly and keeps the money. Honestly, I love her, cus I think the elderly should lose their money, it's only fair.
In all honesty, I wouldn't say this I good her for cus she gets beat to hell, but she's gay, and it's a good movie.

Here is a podcast episode I recommend:
Books in the Freezer
Episode 105: Slashers with Stephen Graham Jones

This is an episode with the author of My Heart is a Chainsaw. I did not like the book but after listening to him speak I can see where he is coming from. I like the author and I will give his other work a chance.
Parting Words
Go make some toast with some jam and butter and eat that sh*t right up. Drink a big glass of water and go read a book outside. Also don't forget to water your plants.
