I Want Real Ghosts In My Ghost Stories!

It's nearly the first day of Fall so that means it's time for scary stories, scary movies, and sweater weather. However, I'm finding it very hard to find a book that actually has ghosts in it. Just give me a story with legit ghosts. Anyway, I've started reading Lockwood and Co. because they actually have ghosts and that's very respectable. On the same note, I'm getting a little tired of new horror movies where the villain is just like a crazy guy. Give me some supernatural scares (preferably ghosts cus demons are too fake for me to care about.)

Magic For Liars by Sarah Gailey → I liked the idea, I liked the magic, I thought it was a very COOL word! But the detective, mystery plotline was actually not that good. And then when it was solved there wasn't even like a killer. Lame! Also what the hell was the prophecy stuff, it was so insignificant. Why even add a prophecy?

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides → This reveal was so boring. I feel like the silent patient was not even what this book was about, to be honest, you could replace her with anything and have the same plot because it was just about this narcissistic fake a** psychologist. And if my girlfriend was cheating on me I would be crazy and follow her around I would confront her, and then we wouldn't be in this mess.

Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney → Have read And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie? Have you watched I Know What You Did Last Summer? Then you have read this book. Not an ounce of originality in this one. I will give them props tho, I did not see that little twist coming, got me there. I recommend it if you liked the above book or like Riley Sager's work.

We'll Never Tell by Wendy Heard → There were no ghosts in my ghost book :( Honestly, this was just a poorly written book and when they revealed the killer, it like, wasn't even good. The positives are it's got a sh*t ton of queer representation.

It's Teen British Spy Season

I must confess, I have been watching too much Alex Rider (the TV show.) But the movie from 2006 was a cinematic masterpiece. Go watch it yourself, it's free on Tubi. But Here are some show recs.

Alex Rider → Stream on Amazon Prime
- Teen British spy, it's so goofy yet weirdly grounded. I love Alex he is baby. And the theme song slaps!
Kaos → Stream on Netflix
- Present-day Greek Gods, I'm not very far into it but its good. Reminds me of American Gods but less vulgar.
Dead Boy Detectives → Stream on Netflix (JUST GOT CANCELED FOR A 2ND SEASON)
- It's spooky season watch the fun dead ghosts do fun detective work. It's camp. It's British, it's got IP.
Lockwood and Co. → Stream on Netflix
- Ghost show, with ghosts. It's fun, it's British, it's got IP.
English Teacher → Stream on Hulu
- It's a comedy about a gay English teacher. If you like this video you will like it. Short episodes too!
The Perfect Couple → Stream on Netflix
- Netflix's new rich white murder show! It's good though, who doesn't love a mystery!
Popstar Academy → Stream on Netflix
- It's a reality TV show disguised as a documentary about making a girl group and its really good.

I know everyone loves to be a Marvel hater but I really liked WandaVision and I expect to like this one too. It looks good.

Like I just said above everyone likes to hate Marvel, well this show is a direct burn to Marvel movies and it looks so good. It looks funny and I love shows about making movies, its why I liked The Bubble so much.
