Happy Winter and Valentine's Day! Are we all feeling that seasonal depression or is it just me living alone in Western NY? I have not seen the sun in weeks and it's really starting to get to me. On the other hand, I have been walking as much as I possibly can while working 2 jobs and trying to avoid walking in the dark. Subject Change: Can we finally talk about how the Percy Jackson Show teaser trailer used a slow version of Riptide? Only real fans understand. I am also apartment hunting.... again.

Books I've Read Recently
She's been reading

Nothing More To Tell by Karen M. McManus→ I really like Karen M. McManus. She writes the perfect pallet cleanser books. Every time I read one of her books I have renewed my enjoyment of reading. This one was pretty good and I think the romance was cute as hell. (I'm a fan of Tripp.)
My only negative is that the abusive dad plot was kinda not explained well enough. I read this in a day so I might have missed something. All of her books should be shows, I'd watch the sh*t out of them.
Stream One Of Us Is Lying on Peacock.

How To Sell A Haunted House by Grady Hendrix→ Grady Hendrix my mortal enemy. Firstly they never sold the haunted house and secondly, I wouldn't even say this house was haunted. Anywho, Grady is an interesting guy because he brings up things that are a part of being a woman but then he does them no justice because he's a man. This one only suffers a little in this field because it deals with motherhood and the strained relationship girls have with their mothers. More so, it was a scary* puppet book.
I didn't like it, but it happened and I read it.
*it wasn't scary

The Dead and The Dark by Courtney Gould → Absolutely no reason for romance in the end. Like okay but you all "love each other" and are going on a road trip. K....
Anyway, I wish this explained the evil force more or made this more scary. Also, she was so mean to her gay dad, it was so uncalled for. And the paranormal investigation backstory was underutilized.
I could fix her.

I think we should all be nicer to Dakota Johnson. Remember sometimes hot chocolate is a cure-all and your "making plans," "organizations," and "spreadsheet" friend is probably not doing okay.
